January Card a Day Challenge by Jennifer W on the Cricut MB

I am going to try to keep up with the Card a Day Challenge.
Here are my first four cards. (from the bottom up)
I tried the Acetate card for the first time and although I forgot to add the ribbon before I photo'd the card I was pleased with how it turned out and I am really liking that stamp,
I also attempted the magic color card (tutorial on splitcoaststampers.com) that was a fun one to do and the little kitty was just perfect for my sentiment.
Day 3 was Snow White cut from Storybook and made for a great nieces birthday.
My fourth card was done today, which would have been my brother Jim's 54th birthday, We lost Jim when he was just 19 years old and miss him still. I was feeling a little nostolgic when I made this one and tried to go for the faux linen look. The butterfly represents the fact that death here on earth is just a new begining further than we can fly, and the watch fob lets us know it is only time before we are together again. Happy Birthday Jim - we all love and miss you! Your little sis Kathy

What beautiful cards Kathy, I love them all, but the poignancy of the card for your brother really bought a tear to my eye. What a beautiful rememberance
